Speed is the most intimidating asset an athlete can possess! Athletes who have speed also have the confidence to make big plays, they get the highest respect and are awarded the top schoolarships. Most believe speed is like a gene, either you’re born with it or you’re not. However, there is NO truth to this non-sense. Simply put, speed is a skill. Athletes who put in the hard work and learn the correct principles to develop speed, are the ones who consistently dominate in their sport.
How does the modern fitness speed & strength school work?
STEP 1: Athletes are taken thru a unique speed and strength assessment by one of our certified speed & strength coaches to indentify deficts in all aspects of running: acceleration, deceleration, reacceleration and changes in direction.
STEP 2: We sit down one on one with each athlete to explain strengths and weaknesses found thru the assessments using drills, pictures and video. Our program is truly a school, we don’t talk technique we teach mechanics. We want our athletes to understand the science behind running fast so as we’ll coaching the athlete they improve immediating. They walk away from each and every training session feeling faster.
STEP3: Once we highlight what needs to be accomplished we go straight to work building a faster, more confident, high-performance athlete.
